Thick-walled drill pipes (TBT) with high-torque threads are supplied with a flat or conical (version I) support surface for the elevator. At the request of consumers, carbide belts are applied. The mechanical properties of steel comply with API requirements. Lock joints due to threads with a thread profile angle equal to 90 ° and special discharge grooves are characterized by increased torque (1.2 times) and high fatigue strength. Repair of threads is carried out without shortening the length of pipes. In combination with drill pipes BN-73 and BK-89 according to TU 14-161-219-2004, TBT can be installed in any part of the drill string without translators. This arrangement makes it possible to reduce the colmatation of productive formations and increase the drilling speed.
