Borehole rod pumps consist of a solid thick-walled cylinder with extensions, an all-metal rigid plunger and a ball valve. The pump parameters comply with the requirements of the international API standard and domestic regulatory documents.

Borehole rod pumps are supplied assembled, as well as in the form of separate assemblies and parts. The main part of the SSHN – a solid thick–walled cylinder - is made of precision pipe in cooperation with metallurgical and pipe plants. The working surface of the cylinder is subjected to deep nitriding (layer thickness 0.2... 0.5 mm, hardness 870-1124 HV) or electroplated chrome plating (layer thickness 0.08 mm, microhardness 700... 900 HV).
